Kehlmann, Michael© Copyright Michael Kehlmann, photo, 1985 Kehlmann, Michael, b. Vienna, Sept. 21, 1927, director, actor, 1951-1953 manager of the "Kleines Theater im Konzerthaus". With H. Qualtinger, C. Merz and G. Bronner K. produced the revue programme "Brettl vor´m Kopf" in 1952; worked as director for the theatre (from 1964 at the Theater in der Josefstadt, from 1974 at the Burgtheater in Vienna) and for television (e.g. film adaptation of J. Roth's "Radetzkymarsch") productions in Germany and Austria. 1966 awarded the J.-Kainz Medal. Work: Der Qualtinger, 1995 (with G. Biron).
