Physician-in-ordinary to Empress Maria Theresia from 1766, cured her of variola 1767. Was appointed a high-ranking member (Assessor) of the Imperial Study Commission at court by G. van Swieten, 1st physician-in-ordinary 1773; senior of the Medical Faculty.
