Piber, Styria, village in the district of Voitsberg, alt. 493 m, settlement with castle and farming estates northeast of Köflach at the foot of Gleinalpe Mountain, part of the municipality of Köflach. - Romanesque parish church (oldest in the north-west of Styria, early 13th century), rebuilt in late Gothic style 1629-1631, Romanesque west portal; castle (1696-1728) in the style of D. Sciassia with pier arcades, since 1920 seat of the stud farm of the Lipizzaner Horsesof the Spanish Riding School.
