Junk, RudolfJunk, Rudolf, b. Vienna, Feb. 23, 1880, d. Rekawinkel, Lower Austria, Dec. 20, 1943, graphic artist, brother of Viktor Junk. Studied at the University of Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. 1924-43 director of the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna. Focused on bibliophilic editions. From 1909 graphic designer for the Österreichische Staatsdruckerei (securities, postal and revenue stamps). Member of the Hagenbund artists' association 1909-22. Literature: Die verlorene Moderne.
