Benedikt, MichaelBenedikt, Michael, b. Vienna , Nov. 17, 1928, philosopher. Studied at Vienna University, at first taught in schools and adult education institutions and headed a cultural centre. Habilitated in 1972, Professor at the University of Vienna 1976-88. Concentrated on issues within the realm of social ethics, ontology and transcendental anthropology.
